Throughout her fourteen years as Editor-in-Chief of Bella, Jackie did a lot of radio, both national and local. Often the appearances were live, straight from her desk. Topics could be anything from a story/report/investigation that the magazine was running, to topical issues affecting women and families.
She pioneered the concept of dedicated magazine slots on national radio, becoming the first editor to become a regular part of a national radio show, discussing issues in the current magazine. Jackie now trains editors in the benefits for magazines of media as a marketing tool.
Since leaving Bella she is still frequently asked onto radio to cover issues related to her books, and has become official spokesperson for the grandparents’ website BeGrand.net
